Baby Threads Keepsakes

Baby Threads Keepsakes was born whilst I was on maternity leave 6 years ago with my second child Ellie.  Faced with a pile of clothes that were too precious to pass on and were to precious to bundle up into the attic never to be seen again.   I made my first bunny keepsake for Ellie and from there Baby Threads Keepsakes has continued to steadily grow.

Baby Threads Keepsakes is now a small team of 4 local fellow mums who are all very skilled with a needle and thread who help me to cut, sew and stuff our keepsakes.

I pride myself on creating quality keepsakes which are all sewn, stuffed and hand finished.  I promise to take the same special care over your clothing as I do my own little ones. I understand how sentimental each item of clothing is and the memories they represent.

I also wanted to create a conscious business, we create lots of off cuts of fabric that we use to create patchwork blankets for the local women’s refuge. The women often turn up with nothing having escaped domestic violence, our blankets give them and their own little ones a small bit of comfort.
